Today, the JoEllen Doornbos Endowment for Saving Animals from Extinction (SAFE) exceeds $8.4 million. As we launch a new matching campaign for 2026–2029, our goal is to grow the endowment to $10 million by 2029, and we invite you to continue this vital momentum.
Thanks to the extraordinary support of JoEllen Doornbos, every donation to AZA SAFE will be matched dollar for dollar up to $250,000 per year for the next four years. This campaign will fuel the JoEllen Doornbos Endowment for SAFE to provide grants to SAFE species programs in perpetuity ensuring long-term conservation impact.
